Most UAE firms make you ask before they tell you anything. These are the
starting prices for the four things we are asked for most, with what each
one covers and what it does not.
7 AM to 11 PM, seven days. A quote usually takes one short call.
Starting prices for the four things we are asked for most, published instead of quoted on request.
Pricing
The four we are asked for most
Starting prices, published so you can judge before you call. What you
actually pay depends on how many transactions there are, what state the
records are in and how many entities are involved, so the figure below is
where a quote starts rather than where it lands. Every figure excludes VAT.
Corporate tax filing
fromAED 299a year
excluding VAT
Annual UAE corporate tax return prepared and checked against the law before it is filed.
What it covers
Taxable income computed from your accounts
Small Business Relief tested and elected if it applies
Return prepared and reviewed before submission
The filing deadline that applies to your licence month, in writing
What these prices are not. They cover preparation and review; how each return is submitted is agreed with you at engagement, and a statutory audit opinion is signed by an independent registered auditor. Licence and registration papers are available to view at our office — visit us at Aspin Commercial Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, or call +971 58 541 4616, WhatsApp +971 58 541 4616 or email info@taxadvisors.ae.
All prices exclude VAT. UAE VAT at 5% is added to the
invoice where it applies. Government charges are never inside these figures: the Federal Tax
Authority charges nothing to register or file, but Ministry, DET and free
zone fees are set by those authorities and are paid to them directly.
Book a short call and you will get a fixed number for your situation
rather than a range.
Why the number moves
What changes a quote
Transaction volume. Fifty invoices a month and five
hundred are not the same job, and bookkeeping is priced on the work,
not on the company size.
The state of the records. A clean set of books costs
less to work from than a year of receipts in a folder. Backlog work is
quoted separately so it never hides inside a monthly fee.
How many entities. A group with three licences files
three sets of obligations, and a tax group changes the corporate tax
position again.
What has already gone wrong. A missed registration or
an assessed penalty is a different piece of work from a routine filing,
and it is quoted as one.
The process
How a quote becomes a fixed number
The published figures are where the conversation starts, not the number
you are held to. Turning one into a fixed quote takes one short call or
WhatsApp thread, and it works like this.
You describe the business. Roughly how many
transactions go through a month, what the records look like now, how
many licences are involved, and whether anything is already overdue.
Estimates are fine at this stage; nothing is measured against them.
You get a fixed figure, in writing. The quote names
the work, what it covers and what sits outside it, and the price it is
held at. Once you accept it, that number is the number — it does not
move because the job turned out to be more interesting than expected.
The only thing that reopens it is scope. If the work
changes after you accept — a second entity gets added, a backlog year
nobody mentioned appears, the FTA raises a penalty mid-engagement —
that is a new piece of work, quoted separately and agreed before it
starts. It never arrives silently on the invoice.
Work starts after you say yes. Nothing is filed,
registered or submitted on your behalf before you have seen the figure
and agreed it. There is no retainer you did not ask for and no
commitment period on any of the four.
A quote is not advice and accepting one is not an engagement to act
before the FTA. The line between preparation and representation is drawn
on the terms of use: nothing here appoints this firm to file or to act for you, and how a quoted filing job is submitted is agreed in writing at engagement.
Billing
How the four are billed
The rhythm follows the obligation. Corporate tax filing is priced per
year, because the return is annual. Bookkeeping is monthly, because that
is the rhythm at which books are useful. VAT returns are priced per
quarter, which matches the most common FTA tax period — if your period is
monthly, that is stated in the quote rather than assumed away. Audit
support is per engagement, because a year-end file has a beginning and an
end.
VAT is added on the invoice where it applies: the figures on this page
exclude the 5% UAE VAT, and the quote does too. Government charges are
never inside them — the FTA charges nothing to register or file, but any
licence, DET or free zone fee is set by that authority and paid to it
directly, not through us.
What each package covers and does not cover is printed on its card above,
not in the fine print, because an unstated exclusion is the usual reason
an invoice gets argued about. If a job needs two of them — a year of
neglected books before a corporate tax return can be filed, say — the
backlog is quoted as its own piece of work first, so the monthly figure
that follows it is a clean number and not a number hiding a catch-up.
Work the page does not price at all is quoted the same way: a call, the
same questions about volume and records, a fixed figure in writing before
anything starts. There is no "call for a quote" as a euphemism for a high
number — the four published prices exist precisely so a quote for anything
else can be judged against them.
FAQ Answers to the questions people actually ask
Questions about these prices
Are these the final prices?
They are starting prices. A fee moves with the number of transactions, the state of the records and how many entities are involved, so the published figure is where a quote starts. Ask on a call and you will get a fixed number for your own situation.
Do the prices include government fees?
No. The Federal Tax Authority charges nothing to register for corporate tax or VAT, or to file a return. Ministry of Economy, DET and free zone charges are set by those authorities and are paid to them, not to us, and they are never inside a figure on this page.
Can you file my corporate tax return as my tax agent?
Article 12(2) of the Tax Procedures Law requires a tax agent to be listed on the FTA register and to hold a licence from the competent local authority. We prepare and check the return and explain what it says, and how it is submitted is agreed with you at engagement. Licence papers can be viewed at our office.
Can you audit my company?
A statutory audit opinion may only be signed by an auditor registered under Federal Decree-Law No. 41 of 2023. What we do is audit support: closing the books, assembling the schedules and answering the auditor’s queries so the audit itself is shorter and cheaper.
What do you need before you can quote?
Three things, usually: your trade licence, roughly how many transactions a month you run, and whether you are already registered for VAT or corporate tax. With those a quote takes minutes rather than a meeting.
